Only wine connoisseurs know and apreciate the quality of wines from the Provence region. Up to 4/5 of the total production of Provence is turned into Rosé. The region has four small areas of cultivation which are in the top rank: Bandol, Cassis, Bellet and Palette. Their terroir consistently produce good wines of great expressiveness and quality.

Bandol Rose. Beautiful pale salmon colour, quite openly fruity at first, then an almost floral nose leads you onto lovely, warm rounded fruit on the palate with good length and utterly satisfying flavours.

Cotes de Provence Rouge 2005. A dense and brooding red wine made from Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with complex flavours of red fruits, leather and tobacco.
Food Match: This robust wine would match roast duck or a fine fillet of beef.
