Chardonnay
Chardonnay is used to make some of the finest dry white wines in the world and remains one of the most widely-planted grape varieties. Chardonnay grapes are used to make bone-dry wines of France‘s Chablis subregion. Chardonnay wines often have a buttery taste and tend to be less aciditic than Sauvignon Blanc varieties of wines. Charonnay is also an important component of many Sparkling wines, including quality Champagnes. Burgundy is Chardonnays spiritual home. Chablis, Pulligny Montrachet, Pouilly-Fuissée represent some of the finest wines made with the Chardonnay grape. >> Read more
